A small secretAmong all those letters, one word is hiding — finding it is yours to do.

אAlef
Letter 1 of 22
The quietest palette in the collection: rose, mauve and a plum deep enough to pass for ink. Two yods and a vav, balanced on the diagonal, give the piece an almost architectural calm — and the closer you stand, the more the soft pinks separate into distinct tones.

Where it hangs well
At home in cool, pale rooms — white plaster, pale ash, brushed brass and linen. Hangs beautifully in a bedroom or a hallway, and is the one to choose when a wall needs presence without weight.

Hanging notes
- Centre the image at eye level — roughly 145 cm from the floor to the middle of the piece.
- Leave a wide mount: 6–8 cm of white around the image lets the detail breathe.
- Slim natural oak, walnut or matt black all suit the collection.
- Keep it out of direct sun, and choose matt or museum glazing so the fine lines stay readable.

We put the largest size in the meeting room. It softens all the glass and grey, and people keep walking up to it before the meeting starts.

The pinks are far more varied in print than on screen — at least four distinct tones in the upper yod alone. Against a pale wall it reads almost like a watercolour.
