Bronze, soot and a dull gold that only separate once you are close. A is the warmest capital in the English alphabet and the most solid from across a room — the broad strokes run almost black, while the flourishes at the edges thin out into ochre.

Hanging notes
- Centre the image at eye level — roughly 145 cm from the floor to the middle of the piece.
